Don’t get distracted by identities, “deep state” or “globalism”: attack Left-liberal ideology directly ⭐

Table of Contents

1. Liberals wear their identities as ablative armour: target the ideology directly instead

Liberals wear their identities as ablative armour. When they offend RWs, the latter assume the former are motivated by their micro-identities (ethnicity/religion/da joos) and lash out at those groups, leaving the Liberal Raj unscathed.

1.1. Old tribes, new tribes

“Nehru was muslim” and Obama birther conspiracy theories both have the same root:

RWs are fundamentally still stuck to the old tribes: loyalty to race, religion, nation, family. They do not understand this new world, with its new Ideologies that command their enemies’ loyalties.

1.2. Cozy corner

The “why are TBs woke?” pathologizing is the same as MAGAs asking “why is Gillette/Budlight suddenly so woke?”

Everything is woke–the culture, all the institutions, elite religion accept left-liberalism. You just didn’t notice until it touched your cozy corner of the world.

2. Never attribute to identity or big-brain sociological theorizing what can be attributed to ideology

OUT: “The State has replaced the Husband for women 😡💢😱🤬” ❌

IN: “The Left-liberal Rāj has replaced all Personal Relationships for the adherents of its ideology.”✅

Nothing to do with incel theories, or with her being a woman.

It’s just that no personal tragedy will get a Left-liberal to change their views, because their foremost commitment is to their Ideology. It’s like Abraham sacrificing his son for his god.

Never attribute to big-brain sociological theorizooring what can be attributed to Ideology.

“Why are the youth zero-sum?” “Why do women trust experts more?” “Why do atheists oppose free speech?” “Why do young people hate Israel and old people love it–is it because they see Israel being brvtal while old people saw Israel as the underdog? But wait, old people saw the USSR but are less likely to be pro-Ukraine…”

Psychological traits offered to explain political divides are really causally downstream of them.

God created the political ideologies; all else is the rationalization of man.

3. On “Abrahamism”

“Abrahamism” is like saying Kapil & Kanwal Sibal follow “Sibalism”, or Mani-shankar & Swaminathan Aiyer follow “Aiyerism”.

Islam is the second-largest political force in the world after her husband Left-liberalism; together they are our greatest threat.

Christianity is a shell of its former self, which literally <50% of Europeans so much as pay lip service to. It is not the ideology that motivates the actions of its nominal adherents, or the countries they run.

When some leftist NGO impedes our growth, when the Deep State does a coup in Bangladesh* or sues Adani in a kangaroo-court, the motivator isn’t “Christianity”, it’s leftism. You can bet that they engage in the exact same subversion against Christians, and in their own countries. Liberals do not have any loyalty towards any traditional religion or country, only towards the new religion and the Liberal Raj.

In any case, Christians and Muslims do not see themselves as allied, and nudging them towards teaming up against us by grouping them as “Abrahamics” is quite dumb.

I hammer this point so much not out of some deep love for Christians, but because Indian RW’s world models are always at least 75 years out of date, which leads to them acting in highly useless and counter-productive ways. Audrey Truschke will say something dumb, and Indians will respond by lashing out criticizing her for Christianity’s historical flaws or “colonialism”, not realizing that she’s snickering on the inside, happy to have our help against her other enemies.

It’s like playing TrapAdventure2 in geopolitics.

4. Deep State

Yes. The original point of the “Deep State” meme was to explain that unelected bureaucracy, courts etc. exist, an election doesn’t change everything, PM/POTUS isn’t all-powerful.

But

  1. people have turned it into v4.0 of Illuminati/WEF/Da-joos conspiracy theories
  2. a Deep State is not inherently evil (and essential for guaranteeing stability in messy democracies).

Instead a Deep State is merely one of many “commanding heights of power”— just like elected govt, media, film, social media, books, education, academia, tech companies, corporate power, influential people, etc. —that a political movement must conquer in order to succeed.

Focusing on the Deep State (or on any one of these commanding heights) rather than the political movement (Left-liberalism) that controls it is basically the same fallacy as attacking people for their identities rather than the ideology:

Liberals wear their identities as ablative armour. When they offend RWs, the latter assume the former are motivated by their micro-identities (ethnicity/religion/da joos) and lash out at those groups, leaving the Liberal Raj unscathed.

It is the reigning political movement, the Left-liberal Rāj, that wields agency, everything else is just its tools.

4.1. Hanania “Elite Human Capital” schtick

The problem with Hanania’s Elite Human Capital schtick is not that ehc aren’t left/libs (they are), but that this is some inherent feature of ehc – whereas in reality it’s just that ehc are one of the commanding heights that a successful political ideology must conquer.

It is analogous to our guys big-braining on whether wokeness is actually a conspiracy by the Deep State or of some sub-sub-caste.

4.2. “Elites”, the “Deep state” is only a medium

Ah yes, agree completely then.

Not just courts, but all old-timey elites: babu brass, much of b’wood, etc. Go with “wind rather than will” so to speak.

Their stance is also largely a function of how many seats BJP has. One of the many reasons power is valuable for its own sake.

5. Globalism

Cosmopolitanism isn’t fundamental to the Left-liberal ideology, but something that all empires (including the LeLi Rāj) employ against threatening nationalisms within their empire.

But you can also use non-threatening sub-nationalisms against those nationalisms.

We should distinguish

  • Cosmopolitanism, a tool of any empire. This empire could be the Left-liberal Rāj (bad) or our Nation (good). At a global scale this is “Internationalism” or now-called “Globalism” because the LeLi Rāj is a global empire.
  • Democratic Cosmopolitanism, which is liked by the Left when it enables ethnic gibs-seeking and Fungible Browning
  • Transnational ideologies, which Left-liberalism is one
  • Globalization, a purely economic thing & generally good
