World models are the bottleneck for the Indian RW

Table of Contents

1. World models are important

This is an example of why having the right “world model” is important.

Who the enemies are

What they want

How they operate

What neutral players want

Each party’s level of power, competence

Every little bit of information

Now imagine the average right-winger:

  • imagining the CIA to be Machiavellian agents motivated by American national interest (rather than fanatically carrying out lib ideology)
  • lapping up stupid memes like “US just invades countries for oil”
  • believing that libs are just well-intentioned simpletons getting manipulated by the REAL threat which is “Xtian missionaries” or “corporations”
  • thinking that “Xtian missionaries”, “white supremacists” are relevant or serious forces at all in the world today
  • … on the surface these just appear “cringe” but inconsequential

Playing with this kind of world model is like playing TrapAdventure2.

2. World models are the bottleneck

Hindutva and Sangh on:

  1. vision – B+
  2. implementation/organizing and working tirelessly to achieve this vision – A+, absolute beasts compared to any RW movement in the world.
  3. world models – D-

That’s the bottleneck.

disagree on 1 and 3 but what do I mean by world model

Correctly understanding the game. Who the players are, what they want, their degrees of power.

I don’t think even BJP leadership really understands Left-liberalism, or their threat. Conversely they vastly overrate the threat of “Christian conversions”.

As for 1, my main complaints are:

  1. they underrate the importance of demography, and veer dangerously close to supporting counterproductive things
  2. they lack a taste for quality and are equanimous toward anyone who says nice things regardless of usefulness

3. Outdated world models are the bottleneck

Yes BJP is successful in “familiar” realms—legacy media, film, traditional enemies like Naxals/Khalistanists, even Pakistan—than in new or less obvious theatres like civil society, social media, academia.

They’re very competent. They just don’t understand the new world.

Will learn after some big thrashing

No, we have to explain it to them. Like convincing one’s parents to take protein.

Saar we are nobody’s, those who can, don’t really care or are just boomers.

We’re elite human capital

In general they are very smart when it comes to familiar/old problems, but stumble on things that are out-of-syllabus.

E.g. they crushed Naxals with Śuṅgan ruthlessness, but were oblivious to what “humanities in IITs” would lead to.

4. Anti-fragility

On “anti-fragility”–

Systems are anti-fragile to threats they understand, and fragile to those which don’t.

Your finger is fragile to a hot object, but Maxwell’s demon is anti-fragile to it, because it knows the exact positions and momenta of every particle therein and can use it to generate work.

India was fragile to EIC because it was an alien enemy. Today such an entity would pose no threat, because the basic concept of “Indians should unite against foreign threats” has been drilled into our minds. But it is fragile to the Left-liberal Rāj, because it doesn’t understand it.

India is anti-fragile to Pakistan. Middling when it comes to Islam in general; though it was once an understood threat, that understanding has slowly been eroded by decades of Nehruvian secularism.

5. Bad world models and pompous about it

RWs not only have outdated world models, but actively mistake that for foresight. They’ll be like “ignore this trend at your own peril” and that trend is actually pointing backwards in time.

History doesn’t repeat itself, it only rhymes.

RWs continuously think they’re coming up with huge-brain theories when in reality they’re just fitting their very wrong world-models to some trivial observation.

They’ll see some Muslims talking eruditely or not behaving like their mental caricatures, and think they’ve identified some special community of alag abduls and start coming up with grand explanations “convert vs OG Muslim” “elite vs dehat Muslims” etc. because they don’t realize that educated Muslims really are generally good at talking well and being friendly; and that being “educated” does not reduce Islamist beliefs amongst Muslims in the same way that it reduces Hindu beliefs amongst Hindus.

Or they will see how Muslims are rewarded for terrorism and think it is some great sociological law of nature called Chagnon-pill. No, it is because Left-liberals work tirelessly day and night to run cover for Islam’s crimes and punish its critics.

Or how Muslims are brazen in advocating for Muslim parochial interests in the West, while Hindu-Americans don’t, and think it means that the latter are “coons” or cucks. No, it is because the Left-liberal apparatus is very supportive of Muslims and has successfully manufactured and instilled the “Islamophobia” meme into popular culture, while it sees Hinduism as an enemy.

6. And the Americorps, where are they now?

The tariffs should put an end to the “Americorps control everything” meme.

The only players in this game are ideologies. MAGA does stupid things, LeLis let them do it to watch them crash and burn, and a small faction of principled conservatives sue to stop it.

7. Crusades

Muslims have almost the entire world—and soon almost the entire Western World, fighting a Crusade … for them.

For Indian RWs with outdated world models about “colonial states” and “xtian missionaries”, this should make you reconsider everything you know in the world.
