For all the boomer talk about “we need to change dis in the ejukeshan system”, the one addition that will truly have an impact is the Arthaśāstra.

BG has been maligned by hippies, Vedas are too archaic – but there’s no way to read KAS and come out as a shitlib.

Just to be clear, by “Vedas are too archaic”, I mean their cultural context is too archaic for the average Joe to easily grasp. I think the ancients understood this, which is why they recommended other texts for regular people to grasp religion from.
